Listing the numbers we play.

491 blues has an ever increasing repertoire. We would like to thank all the composers whose lyrics have enriched our lives. We may not play the numbers as they were originally played and we have put our own stamp on many of them. Hopefully those origianl composers that remain with us or have passed on (and look down on us), will enjoy our interpretation as we play the blues as only we can.

We often get asked who originally composed the songs we play. Many of them were originated in the late 19th and early 20th Centruries, and have been re-arranged and covered by a large number of artists going back many, many years. It is often difficult to find out who the real composer is, but hey, we have tried to find out and we hope the following list is accurate. If you know differently, we will always be glad to hear from you. So, here is a list of the numbers we play and who composed them so far as we can ascertain.
